Emtelle UK Limited was granted a European Patent EP1600801 by the EPO to ‘Cable assembly with optical fibres for blowing installation’ on 16 April 2016. Hexatronic strenuously opposed the EPO grant of the Emtelle patent. We are pleased to confirm that after a thorough review over a three day hearing Emtelle was successful and the EPO decided in its favour on 11 April 2018 that the Patent should be maintained.
