Reporting to the Factory Manager - Hawick, this position drives achievement of customer satisfaction by ensuring delivery of the correct products on time, and with the required quantities. The role will initially encompass planning/scheduling for the Hawick Factory as part of UK Business ensuring that planning and delivery maximizes efficiency, load and capacity, cost management and customer satisfaction. Previous significant demonstrable experience in a manufacturing /planning/ scheduling environment is desired. The position works as part of production teams and an ability and willingness to learn contribute and work effectively to meet the goals of the team and operation are essential. Reporting to the Engineering Manager - Maintenance, this position involves providing engineering support to the running of extrusion machines, and any other tasks associated with the meeting of our production requirements as directed. We focus on a safe working environment, so the Engineer is expected to both comply with all Safety, Health and Quality Policies but act as a role model and leader to others in doing so. Experience in a similar manufacturing environment is preferred but training will be given. You will work as part of the production team and have a willingness to learn and work effectively to meet the goals of the team.
