These points are in the close vicinity of the customer premises with the distribution infrastructure physically passing by the potential customer’s home.  

A Homes Passed network in many cases would still require significant work and investment to connect individual customers.  

Homes Passed Plus 

Homes Passed Plus takes the concept of Homes Passed a step further. It focuses on extending the fiber infrastructure closer to individual properties, often right at the boundary of the property. This extension increases the accessibility of the fiber network, making it easier and faster to connect homes when subscribers decide to opt-in for the service. 

The methodology of Homes Passed Plus acknowledges that the fiber infrastructure is no longer just in the street but can now extend closer to the premises. This significantly improves the customer experience with requesting services as work can commence within the property boundary immediately.

Homes Connected 

The term Homes Connected refers to the number of premises that are actively connected to the network and can immediately access services without further installation work. This phase involves providing subscribers with the necessary equipment and instructions to complete the final connection within their properties.
