MDU Medium Termination Wall Box
The Medium Termination Wall Box (MTWB) is a wall-mounted enclosure designed for the termination and management of fibres to customer drop cables. The unit supports up to 96 fibre splices and is compatible with both butt and in-line input cable configurations. The MTWB can accommodate up to 16 SC-type or 32 LC-type pigtails and adapters.
It provides capacity for up to 16 pre-terminated drop cables with diameters up to 3-7mm, as well as two customer drop cables between 6–12 mm in diameter. Drop cable grommets are supplied with the unit to ensure effective port sealing and are also available as spare components.
Available in white or dark grey, the MTWB has an IP55 rating, making it suitable for both internal and external installations.
Supplied with Four Single Element Trays
Each able to accommodate 24 splices. Also compatible with crimp splice protectors.
Pre-Connectorised Options
Can accommodate up to 16 SC type pigtails and adapters or 32 LC type. Pre terminated drop cables can be sealed using split grommets supplied with the box.
Fibre Management
All fibres are positively managed to maintain a 30 mm minimum bend radius within the wall box.
For Internal and External Use
Made using flame retardant UL 94 V 0 rated materials and sealed to IP55 and the boxes are moulded from UV stable material to prevent discolouring.
Splice Trays Hinge Upwards Individually
Allowing full access to spliced fibres without disturbance to live fibres in adjacent trays.
Suitable for Riser Applications
Cables can enter exit from the top or bottom face of the box.
