
The Large Distribution Wall Box (LDWB) is a wall-mounted splice enclosure designed for distributing fibre to customer drop cables in MDU Scenarios. It has a capacity of up to 240 fibre splices and can accommodate input cables of both butt and in-line types.
The unit can distribute up to 48 customer drop cables with diameters of 3–7mm, and up to eight customer drop cables with diameters of 6–12 mm. Drop cable ports are available on both the top and bottom faces of the box, while top and bottom manifolds enable easy fibre routing within the unit.
Applications and Installations
Single element splice capacity is 240 fibres and for use with 2.2mm splice protectors. Splitters can be mounted on each tray - available on request.
Each box comes supplied with a top and bottom routing manifold for fibre routing to the splice trays.
The box is suitable for basement and riser applications. Cables can enter / exit from the top or bottom face of the box.
The box is sealed to IP55, and the box is moulded from flame retardant UL94-V0 rated materials.
Splice trays hinge upwards individually, allowing full access to spliced fibres without disturbance to live fibres in adjacent trays.
