Fibre

It is now appreciated that the best and fastest way to send communications is by optical fibres. And Emtelle's fibres are the best available, made up into units and cables to suit the fibreflow system precisely. Single Mode: To cater for long distance, high data rate and other applications, Emtelle specify ‘input' SM fibre to G652 with additional requirements. This is then incorporated into blowable fibre products. We also supply G655 and other fibre types. Please inquire about quantities.

Multi Mode: eg for CCTV systems (video, short distance). The input fibre for MM is G651 (also known as OM.1, OM.2, and OM.3) with additional requirements.
Fibre Products: Emtelle offer small lightweight multi-fibre products specially designed for installation by blowing. Fibres are set in a lightweight fixed configuration for easy handling and deployment. Each bundle of fibres thus becomes a single blowable item. Breakout of the individual fibres leaves them gel-free and ready to be prepared for termination.
'Mini-Cable': Above 12 fibre count, the package is slightly more robust, resembling a very small fibre cable, but having no outer layers of reinforcement. This offers a high fibre count (up to 96f) in a small and blowable form. Mini-cable is blown into 10mm or 12mm tubes. For extra-long blow distances, larger tubes can be produced on request.

Future-Proof: It is possible at some future date to blow out the fibre product and re-install a newer spec fibre product. This would involve no re-digging. Also the removed fibre product could be re-used elsewhere, as removal is stress-free and very rapid.
